UAE National Identity Discussion Panel الهوية الوطنية لدولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة – جلسة حوارية

تجمع هذه الجلسة نخبة من قادة المواد الوزارية ومختصّي الهوية الوطنية الإماراتية لمناقشة سبل تعزيز الهوية الوطنية في المدارس، ودورها المحوري في بناء شخصية الطالب الإماراتي وترسيخ القيم الوطنية. تسلّط الجلسة الضوء على أفضل الممارسات التربوية في تدريس اللغة العربية، والتربية الإسلامية، والدراسات الاجتماعية، وكيفية توظيفها بصورة تكاملية لدعم الهوية والانتماء

يناقش المشاركون التحديات والفرص المرتبطة بتطبيق أطر الهوية الوطنية داخل الصفوف الدراسية، وآليات ربط المناهج بالقيم الإماراتية، والتاريخ، والتراث، واللغة، بما يتماشى مع توجهات وزارة التربية والتعليم ورؤية دولة الإمارات للمستقبل. وتهدف الجلسة إلى تبادل الخبرات العملية وتقديم نماذج قيادية تسهم في تمكين المدارس من ترسيخ الهوية الوطنية بصورة أصيلة ومستدامة في بيئات التعلّم

Moderator 

Asmaa Roushdy – Director of MoE Subjects – Dubai College 

الأستاذة أسماء رشدي هي مدير المواد الوزارية في كلية دبي. تربوية حاصلة على ليسانس الآداب في اللغة العربية من جامعة الإسكندرية، ودبلوم تربوي متخصص في تعليم اللغة العربية للناطقين بغيرها، إلى جانب دبلوم الدراسات العليا في التربية (PGCE) من جامعة نوتنغهام، ودرجة الماجستير في الإدارة التربوية من جامعة مانشستر في المملكة المتحدة. تعمل كمدربة معتمدة في تعليم اللغات وفق منهجية NeuroLanguage Coaching، كما تحمل شهادة “مدرب تعليمي” من جامعة هارفارد. تسعى حاليًا لنيل درجة الدكتوراه في مجال التعليم، تتمحور اهتماماتها المهنية حول تطوير المعلمين، وتحسين الممارسات التعليمية، وتحديث المناهج بما يضمن جودة التعليم وفاعليته، بالإضافة إلى اهتمامها بعلم النفس التربوي، وعلم اكتساب اللغة، وتطبيق هذه المعارف عمليًا في ميادين التعليم والتدريب. يُضاف إلى ذلك أنها المؤسِّسة ورئيسة اللجنة التنظيمية لمؤتمر اللغة العربية والتربية الإسلامية، الذي يُعد منصة رائدة تجمع نخبة من المعلمين والباحثين والممارسين من مختلف المدارس الدولي، كما أنها مؤسس سين للتعليم

Mr Mohamed Essam – Director of MoE Subjects – Dar Al Marefa Private School

Ms Sarah Estebanise – Deputy Headteacher – Repton School Dubai 

 Ms. Sarah Estebanez, an English teacher is incredibly passionate about innovative and co-constructive teaching and learning strategies. After graduating from Leeds University with a Master’s degree in English, she worked as an English teacher in London and Leeds before moving to Repton Dubai. Her aim has always been to inspire in her students a love of learning, a sense of their place in the world, and a commitment to personal integrity. With over 18 years of teaching experience, Ms. Estebanez is now Deputy Head of School Improvement, focusing on improving Arabic and Islamic provision across the school.

Ms. Estebanez is an ex Olympic synchronised swimmer and loves to coach the sport in her spare time. She is also an avid reader, and her favourite book is The Name of the Rose’ by Umberto Eco because it serves as a wonderful reminder of the indelible impact one teacher can have on a student’s life.

Mrs Nadine Ramadan – Director of MoE Subjects – Hartland International School 

Mrs Zainab Al Balushi – Deputy Head of MoE Subjects – Amity International School – Abu Dhabi

Ms. Zainab is the Deputy Head of MOE Primary at Amity Abu Dhabi, where she has been a dedicated member of the school community since 2018. With over nine years of experience in international education across Abu Dhabi, she brings strong expertise in Arabic curriculum development and school leadership. She holds a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Abu Dhabi University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic Studies from the Islamic & Arabic Studies College in Dubai.

In her leadership role, Zainab plays a key role in shaping and implementing the Arabic curriculum, enhancing teaching practices, and supporting both staff and students. She also ensures that elements of UAE culture and values are thoughtfully embedded within the curriculum to promote national identity and student engagement.

Zainab has represented Amity as a speaker at several high-profile educational events, including the Abu Dhabi Teaching Conference. She is passionate about innovation in Arabic education and has led initiatives focused on integrating technology into classrooms and improving literacy through structured reading programs.

Her leadership is marked by effective communication, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to fostering inclusive, high-impact learning environments. Zainab is a dependable and motivated leader, always willing to take on new challenges to support team goals and improve student outcomes.
