The session will cover essential components of an outstanding lesson, including lesson planning techniques, differentiation strategies, active learning methods, and the integration of digital tools. Teachers will discover innovative approaches such as gamification, storytelling, project-based learning, and questioning techniques to promote higher-order thinking. Through hands-on activities, real-life examples, and collaborative discussions, attendees will gain practical insights into classroom management, student engagement, and effective assessment methods. This session aims to inspire educators to elevate their teaching, ensuring that Islamic lessons are not only informative but also transformative for students. By the end of the session, participants will leave with ready-to-implement strategies, digital resources, and a renewed passion for delivering high-quality Islamic education. Speaker: Youssef Mahmoud Darwish I am an experienced Islamic Studies educator with over nine years of teaching in the UAE. Currently, I teach at Jumeira Baccalaureate School and serve as a PLC Activator, leading professional development on Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and questioning strategies. I have held several leadership positions, including Head of Islamic Department at Next Generation School. I have presented at multiple conferences, including Dubai Teaching Conference 2024, BSME, and Mubdi’ Conference. Passionate about educational leadership, I am pursuing a Master’s in Educational Leadership at Liverpool John Moores University and the NPQSL, focusing on innovation, differentiation, and student engagement.
