My name is Arsalan Jamil, and I serve as a Middle Leader and Head of Humanities at The Oxford School Dubai. In my role, I lead strategic initiatives that enhance teaching quality and support student success across the Humanities department. As a Sociology teacher, I am committed to empowering both students and colleagues through professional development, collaborative planning, and instructional coaching.
I also champion student leadership and cultural identity through my work with Model United Nations and Heritage Heroes, creating opportunities for learners to build confidence, critical thinking, and global citizenship skills. I believe strongly in research-informed leadership and the power of distributed decision-making, where every teacher feels equipped and trusted to make a positive impact. My professional mission is to develop high-performing teams and nurture future-ready learning environments, where middle leaders play a central role in driving continuous school improvement.
