Welcome to our session! We are two dedicated IB Kindergarten educators who are passionate about early years learning.
Ms. Soumaya, who teaches the English subjects, and Ms. Yasmeen, who teaches the Arabic subjects, work closely together to create a connected, inquiry-driven learning environment.
In this workshop, we are presenting as a duo to give you an authentic glimpse into how an IB Kindergarten classroom truly operates. We will share our collaborative teaching practices, how we integrate both languages, and the strategies we use to nurture agency, curiosity, and meaningful learning in young children.

We are two educators who share a strong passion for teaching the IB in Kindergarten. Ms. Soumaya teaches the English subjects, while Ms. Yasmeen leads the Arabic subjects. Together, we would like to deliver this PD session as a collaborative duo, showcasing how we teach, how we integrate our languages, and what truly happens inside an IB Kindergarten classroom. Our aim is to offer an authentic look into our practices, our partnership, and the rich learning experiences we create for young learners.
