With over 20 years of extensive experience in the education sector, I have advanced from teaching roles to senior leadership positions, including Head of Department, Supervisor, and Senior Leadership Team member. I have worked in various educational settings across the UAE and internationally, consistently contributing to the improvement of Arabic and Islamic education for both Arab and non-Arab students.
I am a passionate educator, consultant, and trainer, specializing in improving teaching, learning, and assessment practices, with a strong focus on enhancing Arabic language proficiency and Islamic education. I hold a Professional Diploma in Educational Quality and Supervision and have been involved in numerous inspections, reviews, and consultancy projects across schools in Dubai, Sharjah, and beyond.
Currently, I serve as a Senior Leader and Head of Department at LEAMS Education, where I am responsible for driving high-quality academic outcomes and supporting teachers in Arabic and Islamic education. I am also a Global Teacher Award 2021 winner and continue to engage in research and professional development to foster excellence in education. My leadership journey includes working in renowned schools like GEMS, JSS Private School, and others, helping institutions raise academic standards from “Acceptable” to “Good” ratings, and building strong educational frameworks. I am also proud to be an active member of KHDA and involved in various training and coaching programs aimed at improving teaching practices.
