Tamara Asantewaah is an English teacher, A-Level Media Studies educator, and the Whole-School Literacy Coordinator (Senior Phase) at Repton School Dubai. With a strong commitment to academic excellence, Tamara leads school-wide literacy development grounded in research-based pedagogy, curriculum design, and evidence-informed practice. Her work focuses on equipping educators with accessible, high-impact strategies that strengthen reading, writing, speaking, and listening across the curriculum.
A champion for Reading for Pleasure, Tamara integrates cultural relevance, inclusivity, and student agency into her literacy frameworks, ensuring that reading becomes a meaningful, relevant, and socially engaged practice for all learners.
