This interactive workshop explores evidence-based strategies to enhance working memory and metacognition in Islamic education. Participants will engage in practical, hands-on activities that strengthen Qur’an retention and memorisation, Hadith understanding, Seerah and historical events recall and Islamic concept application. Using techniques such as retrieval practice, spaced learning, and cognitive mapping, educators will learn how to deepen students’ engagement, improve recall, and foster meaningful connections between Islamic teachings and real-life applications.
