Transdisciplinarity is all about offering students a broad, balanced, conceptual and connected learning experience. It is an approach that supports symbiotic relationship between the learner, learning and teaching and the learning community.. such approach serves as an organizing principle within teaching and learning. The transdisciplinary approach reflects continuous integration and connection of prior knowledge and new knowledge and experiences in a meaningful way. It goes across, between and beyond subjects and emphasizes integrated learning and honors the learners’ curiosity and voice. In the session, the participants will go through a journey to explore the meaning of unifying learning in all its aspects. Transdisciplinary approach is an active approach that promotes critical thinking.

My name is Fatima Hussein. I am a Lebanese resident in Dubai. I have been teaching since 2003. In 2008, I relocated to Dubai and have been working in schools. I hold BA in English Literature and PGCE from the Lebanese University. I believe in creating a nurturing and engaging environment where every child feels valued and supported.
