This session explores effective strategies for assessing and monitoring student progress with a focus on redrafting and feedback over traditional book marking. Teachers will gain insight into identifying mastery within a key stage or curriculum area, developing a clear understanding of the skills students need to refine their work in a structured way. The session will examine the limited impact of book marking and teacher feedback in comparison to whole class feedback and redrafting as well as live marking.
